LEFT WING
The left wing approach dictates that the state should play a substantial approach in people’s lives. There should be increased regulation in business and higher taxes for the wealthy. They are often said to stand behind ‘progressive views’, for example campaigning for same sex marriage, opposing capital punishment and campaigning for a women’s right to have an abortion. They do have more lenient views on immigration. and Created for worker’s (proletariat) rights in the UK. This left wing approach largely follows and is based on the ‘Keynesian Approach’, or the interventionist approach. This is where the government takes it upon themselves to intervene in all economic matters. This may mean (as an example) taking the step to increase taxes when the country is going through an economic boom period.
