I am a London based, UK qualified teacher and a current Head of Social Sciences. My passion is lecturing and writing and this is how the idea for this blog came about. I have created this website (www.sociologyarticles.co.uk) for those that are studying Sociology in the UK and abroad. You should be able to find information on topic areas related to AS Level Sociology & the new Linear A Level Sociology. I am passionate about Sociology as a subject, as it is an academic area that includes the study of societies, cultures, history, politics, philosophy and much, much more. Please remember this is a blog and as a result materials will be added as and when I create them – depending on the topic area.

The blog section will cover extended thinking and comments on current sociological thinking that relates to specific topic areas. Other subjects covered will include areas of interest that I am particularly passionate about: Philosophy and Eastern history and ‘sociology’. I am on a mission to bring ‘Socio-thoughts & thinking’ from academics from all over the world to students. Not just the West. Unfortunately, much of the academic curriculum within Schools, Colleges and Universities – is Eurocentric. The mission of ‘socio thoughts’ is to try to take a step towards correcting this imbalance.
